Her Highness and her partner Silk hatch a scheme to one-up an old acquaintance—a street-corner pitchman hawking a dubious beautifier—by stealing his product and running their own con with a trick involving makeup and misdirection. When their plan backfires in unexpected ways, the two find themselves tangled up with the law while their rival adapts and thrives, leaving Her Highness to wonder if crime really pays.
