# Hit Comics #32 This issue is an anthology containing multiple stories. "Kid Eternity" features the character battling Merlin the Wizard for the magic sword Excalibur. "Bob and 5" follows Marine Bob Masters and his companion as they arrive at a newly-won town to join a parade of welcome heroes. Another story involves a murder investigation where Miss Bates uncovers a scheme in which a check is forged; the victim, Bertie, is found dead, and suspicion falls on Mr. Ridgewood, though it's revealed the murder was committed using insect venom administered through poisoned gas tanks by a doctor and his associate who sought revenge for past wrongs.
