Hit Comics #3 is an anthology featuring multiple stories: "Hercules in Thunder on the Seas," where the strongman battles enemies aboard a ship; "Jack and Jill," a crime-fighting duo who use disguises to catch criminals and uncover a smuggling ring sending naval information to foreign submarines; "Bob and Stab," featuring two men in comedic physical altercations; and "Blesc Barton," in which explorers descend in a gyroscphere through Earth's interior, encountering strange creatures and civilizations in subterranean caverns before reaching the planet's core.
