HIP Comics #1983
In "... de vernietiging van het eeuwige rijk," Prins Namor returns to Atlantis only to find it under siege by the Plunderaar [Edgar Plunder], whose attack triggers a chain reaction when an American submarine, mistaking the chaos for a threat, drops depth charges. The resulting explosion devastates much of the city, leaving Namor unconscious and the Atlantean forces—led by Vrouw Dorma and Lord Vashti—rallying to the surface, their resolve hardened by loss. With the fate of Atlantis hanging in the balance, the stage is set for a war that could engulf both worlds.
In "Rennen, Rocky! Ren... ren!!!", a desperate criminal tries to escape justice by hiding aboard an experimental rocket, only to realize too late that it’s a tiny, pilotless craft—too small to carry anyone. Rocky Jordan finds himself in a high-stakes chase with no room to maneuver, where every second counts and the odds are stacked against him.
In "De kracht van een monster," the Hulk, manipulated by the Lord of the Living Lightning, turns on his longtime enemy Thunderbolt Ross, unaware he's been brainwashed. As the military struggles to contain the raging giant, the Lightning Lord seizes control of Ross's base, trapping Betty Ross and the unconscious Hulk in a cell—while forcing Ross to choose between obedience and her safety.
In "Als het monster ontwaakt," the Hulk must confront the Lord of the Living Lightning at a military base on the brink of destruction, with Betty Ross and Thunderbolt Ross caught in the crossfire. As the base teeters under the threat of a missile barrage and the Living Lightning's forces close in, the Hulk and Glenn Talbot race to reclaim the installation—pushing the Hulk to his limits in a battle that demands more than just strength.
In "Er breekt een hel los," Prins Namor awakens in the shattered remains of Atlantis to find his people poised to unleash the untested Hurricane Inducer—a weapon capable of summoning catastrophic storms. With his reputation already damaged by his alliance with the Plunderer, Namor risks everything by sabotaging the machine, knowing its activation could bring ruin to both Atlantean and surface dwellers alike. As his own people turn against him, he must navigate betrayal and chaos to prevent a war that could drown the world.
