High School Confidential Diary #9

An anthology issue containing two stories. The first story follows a teenage boy who becomes infatuated with a girl and plans to elope with her, but after collecting twelve dollars from his mother's piggy bank, he has second thoughts during their escape drive and questions whether taking the money was right. In the second story titled "Life Loses to Love," a young man named Maxwell Donald Wilson pursues his love Helen Peterly despite her concerns about his theatrical ambitions, ultimately proposing to her after meeting with a famous theatrical director and convincing her that their love matters more than career success.
