Tom McCoy was the youngest and best looking teacher on campus. After class Janet Lansing stayed behind to speak to Tom. Sparks flew and they kissed but Tom withdrew, insisting a relationship between student and teacher was impossible. Although both in love they agreed it was best to wait for her to graduate. When Janet became impatient and was discovered by Tom's landlady word spread and Tom was fired. Janet pleaded with the Dean, insisting it was all her fault. Disgraced, Janet prepared to leave town but Tom arrived at the train station telling her that after graduation they would marry.
