Heroes for Hire #19

The cover says it all — "Mayhem in Madripoor!" — and Pascual Ferry and Jaime Mendoza deliver on that promise with a kinetic three-figure charge featuring Wolverine, claws extended and roaring, alongside a sword-wielding armored warrior and Iron Fist channeling his blazing chi fist in the foreground. It's a striking composition that captures the raw energy of three very different fighters moving in perfect, dangerous unison. John Ostrander's "Sold Out!" storyline and the Ferry/Mendoza art team make this January 1999 issue a compelling entry in the Heroes for Hire run.
