Hellblazer #4
In "The Poison Truth - Part 4," John Constantine grapples with the dangerous resurgence of the Djinn, a banished race seeking to reclaim Earth, while being held captive alongside his friend Chas—caught in the crossfire of a botched bet gone wrong at the hands of a vengeful gangster known as White Boy. Meanwhile, Mercury and Swamp Thing face a terrifying assault from the grotesque horrors of The Rot, as the line between the occult and the monstrous grows dangerously thin. Written by Simon Oliver and illustrated by Moritat, with colors by Carrie Strachan and Tony Aviña, and lettered by Sal Cipriano, this issue’s cover by John Cassaday captures the rising tension with stark, haunting detail.

Constantine has learned that the banished race of Djinn (commonly known as "Genies") wish to return to their rightful place as rulers of Earth. But his occult investigations hit a bump when he finds himself tied to a chair alongside his friend Chas - who, as the result of a Constantine-suggested bet on a horse race, has angered the wrong person: the angry gangster White Boy. Having problems of their own, Mercury and Swamp Thing are attacked by the vicious creatures who inhabit The Rot.
