Hellblazer #25
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeGrant Morrison and David Lloyd bring a genuinely unsettling vision to Hellblazer #25, with David Lloyd's painted cover depicting a towering, grotesque figure in a bib reading "I'M JUST A BIG BABY!" clutching a knife, its featureless face topped by an oversized pale orb — while a procession of leering, masked carnival figures lurks menacingly in the background street. The cheerful costuming twisted against the blade and blank, grinning faces makes for exactly the kind of wrong-note horror that Hellblazer does so well. Marked "Suggested for Mature Readers" and arriving in January 1990, this is the series at its most gleefully disturbing.
