Hellblazer #163
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeHellblazer #163 closes out Brian Azzarello and Guy Davis's "Lapdogs and Englishmen" with a cover by Tim Bradstreet that pulls no punches — a sharp-featured, leather-jacketed John Constantine stares out with characteristic wariness, a massive antique clock face looming behind him amid a collage of urban flyers and newsprint, the word "Kronos" lurking at its center. The composition perfectly captures Constantine's uneasy relationship with time and the grinding machinery of forces bigger than himself. Part two of two, this 2001 Vertigo entry is a satisfying conclusion to an arc rendered with Bradstreet's moody, photo-realistic edge.
