“The Inspiration Game Part 2: Poetic Justice”

Part two of "The Inspiration Game" arrives in fine unsettling style — John Constantine, suit and red tie askew, is trapped and struggling inside what appears to be a giant amber-like sphere, fists pressed against the curved interior as an enormous monstrous hand grips the outside. Tim Seeley's cover does a wonderful job of conveying claustrophobic dread, with Constantine's wide-eyed desperation making it instantly clear he's in very deep trouble. This DC Universe Rebirth chapter by Seeley, Merino, and Strachan looks like a genuinely creepy ride for fans of occult noir.
