Warren Ellis and John Higgins were deep into their "Haunted" arc by this third chapter, and Tim Bradstreet's cover captures the mood perfectly — a battered, disheveled John Constantine slumped against a grimy brick wall, his trenchcoat rumpled and his expression somewhere between exhausted and defeated. The amber-soaked palette gives the whole image a bruised, late-night weight that feels entirely at home on a Vertigo shelf from April 1999.
