The sixth and final chapter of Image's Hell to Pay arrives with a cover that commands attention — a massive, intricately rendered demonic skull surrounded by a corona of jagged horns and writhing tentacles, all rendered in stark white linework against deep black, with a golden ram-skull medallion nestled at its center. The design, signed by the cover artist, has a almost ritualistic, engraved quality that feels genuinely unsettling in the best way. Charles Soule, Rosenberg, Will Sliney, and Crank close out this 2023 Image series with a package that looks as darkly ambitious on the outside as the series has been throughout.
