She hires Helgonet, a man with a mysterious reputation, for a million dollars to help her uncover the mine’s hidden secrets — but not all secrets are meant to stay buried.

In the quiet, uneasy stillness of a rural village, the dead begin to walk—spurred by a sinister experiment orchestrated by doktor Smith. In "Hotet," George Brown is startled by a visit from a repairman claiming to represent the Federal Service Bureau for Transmitters—except the man’s order is dated two centuries in the past. As George and his wife Dolly grow uneasy, the visit takes a strange turn when the man vanishes, leaving behind a series of unsettling clues. With help from Professor Zachary Stone and a growing sense of dread, they begin to question whether the repairman was ever human at all.
