Marian agrees to Sandy's plan to double date with Bud and Tod, but her evening is spoiled when they go to the nightclub where Vicki is performing. Jane and Tony are desperate to conceal their blackmail schemes, which leads to Penny falling down the stairs. Dr. Stratton reveals to Chris and Larry that Penny is secretly married to Frank, and that her pregnancy is threatened by her fall.
