"Crime Never Pays" is an anthology issue based on true police and FBI cases. The main story depicted involves a criminal named Don who, unable to secure parole, attempts to kidnap a parole board member named Sue to force her cooperation, but is apprehended by police and FBI agents in a shootout at Okinawa. A second story shows prisoners who kidnap the parole board itself in an escape attempt, with convicted prisoner Frank Finlay sentenced to fifteen additional years for his role in the crime. A third story features a fugitive criminal fleeing through the woods and countryside who is eventually captured after commandeering a car.
