Hawkworld #20
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeHawkworld #20 (February 1992) brings the Ostrander/Kwapisz team together for "Sirius Matters," and Kwapisz's cover sets a striking, ominous tone — a massive, snarling, bare-chested figure looms over a burning, rubble-strewn landscape, gripping what appears to be a weapon, while Hawkwoman in her winged helmet stands her ground defiantly in the foreground. The size contrast between the two figures is deliberately unsettling, conveying just how formidable the threat facing her truly is. If you've been following this series, this is exactly the kind of cover that makes you want to turn the page immediately.
