Hawkeye vs. Deadpool #2

Whatever brought these two together, it clearly didn't go smoothly — the cover by James Harren drops Hawkeye and a very worse-for-wear Deadpool side by side in what appears to be a hospital emergency waiting room, both battered, bloodied, and bristling with arrows. There's a darkly comedic charm to seeing Marvel's sharpshooter and the Merc with a Mouth slumped in plastic chairs beneath a pain-scale chart, with medical staff visible in the background apparently unfazed by the chaos. Gerry Duggan, Matteo Lolli, Jacopo Camagni, and Cris Peter deliver a second issue that promises the kind of bruising, irreverent fun only this particular odd-couple pairing can produce.
