Salem, in the year 1600. Peter Braack is a vain person. When a witch abducts women and Braack confronts her, he does not save the women but makes a pact wishing for eternal youth and immortality. Braack gets framed by the witch later on and hanged. Immortal as he is, he stumbles around as a living zombie begging for his redemption through death, which can only be granted by the witch.
