Baron Weirwulf's Haunted Library delivers another chill with issue #73, where Tom Sutton's cover art sets an immediately unsettling mood — a wide-eyed young woman in a bonnet looks up in terror as a pair of monstrous clawed hands reach toward her from a shadowy, glowing-eyed creature lurking above, with a fog-shrouded streetlamp dimly visible in the background. The purple, rippling atmosphere gives the whole image a genuinely eerie quality that fits "The Fiend In the Fog" perfectly. Joe Gill and Tom Sutton — handling writing, art, inking, and lettering — bring their full talents to this 1984 Charlton anthology entry.
