Hara Kiwi #4

Lectrr's dry wit is on full display in this fourth volume of Hara Kiwi, where the cover gag says it all: a bemused archaeologist type stands over a giant Tupperware container, fork in hand, casually confirming that yes, the mummy is probably well preserved. The deadpan Dutch-language dialogue — "En is de mummie goed bewaard?" / "Ik denk 't wel, ja…" — sets the tone perfectly for the absurdist humor waiting inside. A fine 2008 entry in Lectrr's sharp-eyed satirical series.
