Hara Kiwi #3

The third collection of Lectrr's Dutch humor comic arrives with a wonderfully absurd cover gag: a bewildered patient lies on an operating table while a tiny, surprised-looking figure tumbles out the wrong end, prompting a doctor to observe "Verkeerde kant" ("Wrong side") as the little escapee exclaims "Woeps." It's the kind of deadpan surgical mishap that perfectly captures the off-kilter comic sensibility Lectrr brings to every page of Hara Kiwi. A great pick-up for fans of Belgian and Dutch cartooning with a taste for sharp, irreverent wit.
