This anthology issue contains at least two stories: one featuring a small mouse character who defeats an opponent at chess 25 games in a row, then reveals he developed an atomic bomb with a method to extend daylight to 24 hours, impressing government officials with the technological breakthrough. The second story follows a cat character named Phoebe who reluctantly befriends two small mice, initially wanting to get rid of them, but eventually agrees to let them stay and later takes them fishing, where the mice help him catch worms for bait. The issue showcases typical animal comedy and slapstick humor characteristic of 1940s comic book entertainment.
