Hanada Le Garnement #2

The cover of this second volume says it all — a round-cheeked, gap-toothed baby named Hanada beams with an infectiously mischievous grin, flushed rosy and dressed in a cheerful green patterned outfit, radiating pure chaotic toddler energy. Makoto Isshiki's art captures that irresistible mix of cute and unruly that makes Le Garnement ("The Little Rascal") such an apt subtitle. If you're in the mood for lighthearted, warmly drawn slice-of-life manga, this 2017 Ki-oon release looks like a delightful pick-up.
