“Enemy from Space (Quatermass II)”

"Enemy from Space (Quatermass II)" in Hammer's Halls of Horror #11 (1978) delivers a chilling sci-fi thriller rooted in the classic Quatermass mythos, with writer Steve Parkhouse and David Lloyd joining forces on art and inks, while Val Guest and Nigel Kneale’s original story forms the spine of the tale. When Professor Bernard Quatermass traces strange meteorite landings to a secret industrial complex eerily mirroring his own Moon colony designs, he uncovers a conspiracy that reaches deep into the British government. Cover by Keenan Forbes captures the eerie tension of a world under alien infiltration.

Professor Bernard Quatermass investigates reports of hundreds of meteorites landing only in the Winnerden Flats area of the UK. His inquiries lead him to a huge industrial complex, strikingly similar to his own plans for a Moon colony. This top-secret facility is in fact the center of a conspiracy involving the alien infiltration of the highest echelons of the British government. Quatermass and his allies must now do whatever is necessary to defeat the alien threat before it is too late.
