As Kilowog and the Corps battle the Darkstars on Mogo, John launches his plan to defeat them at the Darkstar base. While Kyle, Guy, Arkillo, Orion, and Zod battle the Darkstars in space, Hal and Hector Hammond infiltrate the base to disrupt their mental link with the Controllers which allows the Darkstars to communicate telepathically. Cut off from communication, Tomar-Tu orders the Darkstars to return to their base, but John has a plan to trap them there, which leads to a showdown between the Corps and the Darkstars.
