This 2017 Gwandanaland collection brings together the complete third volume of Charlton's Unusual Tales, with cover art fully penciled and inked by Steve Ditko. The reproduced cover image captures a tense, otherworldly moment: a man braces against a pulsating, eye-like orb of blazing energy while a frightened woman and child cling together behind him on a wooden platform, a looming dark structure overhead and an eerie night sky beyond. It's a wonderfully atmospheric snapshot of the sci-fi/mystery anthology spirit that made Unusual Tales such a compelling read.
