Gwandanaland Comics #625-A
In "Murder Mansion," former convict Albert Dupres flees a penal colony and finds refuge with a native witch doctor—only to betray and murder him, stealing forbidden magic potions to forge a new life. With a sinister talent for baking deadly "breads of madness," Dupres rises to power, but his past catches up when the witch doctor returns from the dead, ready to claim his due. The story unfolds with eerie precision, drawn with sharp, classic flair by Mike Sekowsky and inked by Mike Peppe, while Ross Andru’s cover captures the tale’s chilling, tropical dread.
