This Gwandanaland Comics reprint collection brings together more of Captain Triumph's golden-age adventures, with cover art by the talented Reed Crandall showcasing the hero in full action — a red-shirted Captain Triumph delivering powerful blows to two thugs simultaneously, promising "Murder in the Sky!" The original Crack Comics #48 cover reproduced here radiates that punchy, energetic style Crandall handled so well, with the villains practically flying off the page. Sixty pages of adventure for a dime was quite a deal back in the day, and this 2017 volume makes those stories accessible all over again.
