This All-New Marvel NOW! issue assembles the full Guardians roster in dramatic fashion — Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon stand weapons-drawn in the foreground while Groot looms behind them, and the massive visages of the Hulk and a grinning symbiote-like creature dominate the background alongside a white-haired woman whose calm expression contrasts sharply with the tension around her. The cover, penciled by Ed McGuinness and inked by Mark Farmer, has that big, kinetic energy that made this era of Marvel cosmic comics so compelling. With Bendis writing and art from both Nick Bradshaw and Michael Oeming inside, issue #17 promises a team stretched across some very dangerous company.
