Groo: Friends and Foes #4

Issue four of Groo: Friends and Foes spotlights "Arcadio the Hero," and Sergio Aragonés's cover makes a strong case for why that title might be optimistic — a massively fanged, wild-eyed green monster looms behind the muscular, sword-raised Arcadio and the ever-scruffy Groo, while a little spotted dog peers out nervously at the bottom. The contrast between Arcadio's heroic pose and the sheer scale of the beast behind them is pure Aragonés comedy, rendered with his signature loose-limbed energy and Tom Luth's vivid yellow-green palette. If you love Groo's chaotic brand of sword-and-sandal humor, this installment of the Friends and Foes series looks like a very good time.
