Grindhouse: Doors Open at Midnight #5

Dark Horse's grindhouse anthology rolls into its fifth issue with "Bride of Blood Part One," and Francesco Francavilla's cover sets the lurid, retro-exploitation tone perfectly — a blood-spattered woman in dark robes stares out with fierce intensity, a blade cutting across the foreground while the tagline "Love! Murder!! Revenge!!!" leaves little doubt about the mood. The bold orange-and-black palette and vintage movie-poster design capture exactly the kind of late-night double-feature energy this series thrives on.
