Grifter #8

Part of DC's New 52 initiative, Grifter #8 from June 2012 puts the tension front and center with a cover by Scott Clark and Dave Beaty that frames two blond, powerfully built men locked in a brutal face-off — one sporting Grifter's signature red mask pushed up on his head, the other crackling with blue energy along his arm, both armed with a pistol, a knife, and a rifle pressed together between them. The tagline "Brother vs. Brother… To the Death!" leaves no ambiguity about the stakes of this confrontation. Nathan Edmondson writes, with interior art from Daniel Sampere, making this a sharp creative team for one of the New 52's grittier action titles.
