Grifter #4

Part of DC's 2012 New 52 initiative, Grifter #4 brings a genuinely unexpected crossover to its rooftop battlefield — the cover, penciled by Cafu and inked by Jason Gorder, pits a wounded, red-masked Grifter crouching with a pistol against a confident Green Arrow swooping in above him, bow drawn and quiver full. The tagline "Target: Green Arrow?" sets up a tense dynamic between these two very different fighters, one scrappy and street-level, the other polished and aerial. Nathan Edmondson's script and Scott Clark's interior art promise the same kinetic energy that makes this New 52 run such a compelling read.
