Hours before her intended execution, Candi calls Greyshirt and Plutarch to the prison to tell them that Johnny's connection to the Lure has kept him alive since the explosion in Central Station and that he is the Fanman behind Fanman Productions. Greyshirt realizes that Fanman has captured Lips, Carmine, and Catherine and is holding them in the mines. Greyshirt rescues them and is able to trick the Lure into eating Fanman, thereby killing the Lure as well.
