Written by Sam Humphries and illustrated by Ronan Cliquet with vibrant colors by Hi-Fi, this emotionally charged finale features a cover by Brad Walker and Drew Hennessy.

Powered by the power rings of the deceased Green Lanterns, Simon battles Volthoom, while Jessica has a plan to cure Volthoom of his madness by helping him to master his control of the emotional spectrum. Rami and the Guardians arrive to imprison Volthoom and collect the original power rings, against the objections of Simon and Jessica. Before he can be imprisoned, Volthoom uses the Travel Lantern to return Simon and Jessica to the future. Back in their own time, they reunite with an ancient Tyran'r, the sole survivor of the first Green Lanterns, who resigns and gives his ring to Simon.
