"Prisoner of the Power Ring!" delivers a tense, classic showdown in Green Lantern: The Silver Age #2, reuniting writer John Broome and artist Gil Kane in a story that redefines the rivalry between Hal Jordan and Sinestro. When Sinestro’s telepathic command forces Hal to free him, the two are thrust into a deadly game on Qward, where deception and willpower collide. The dynamic art by Gil Kane, with inks by Joe Giella and letters by Gaspar Saladino, brings the cosmic stakes to life, while Michael Cho’s cover captures the moment of high tension.

In their last encounter, Sinestro implanted a telepathic command into Hal Jordan's mind, which causes him to release Sinestro from his imprisonment. Sinestro then transports Hal to Qward for a battle, where Hal tricks him into thinking he no longer has his Green Lantern Ring and then imprisons Sinestro again.
