About this Collection

This massive omnibus continues DC's Silver Age Green Lantern reprints, collecting the adventures of Hal Jordan from the late 1960s. It includes issues from both Green Lantern and The Flash, as well as the introduction of the Guardians of the Galaxy's cosmic mythology and key early appearances of the Black Hand. The 2025 edition presents these classic stories by writers like John Broome and artists like Gil Kane in a restored hardcover format.

"SOS Green Lantern" kicks off a classic tale of greed and redemption, spotlighting Tom Kalmakus, a man haunted by a lost inheritance and a father’s unfinished dream. Written by John Broome and brought to life with bold, dynamic art by Gil Kane and Joe Giella, this 2016 DC release features a striking cover by Michael Cho, capturing the tension of a man on the edge and a hero in the shadows.
