Green Lantern: New Guardians #6

Part of DC's New 52 initiative, Green Lantern: New Guardians #6 (April 2012) promises divine-scale conflict right on its Tyler Kirkham and Matt Banning cover, where a Green Lantern in full uniform and a purple-clad Star Sapphire are sent hurtling backward by a blinding burst of energy, while an orange-ringed figure and an armored, sword-wielding golden entity loom through the chaos. The tagline "Wrath of a Living God!" pairs with the interior story title "Rage of Angels" to suggest the multicolored ring-wielders are facing something far beyond their usual threats.
