Part of the sprawling "Rise of the Third Army" crossover, this February 2013 New 52 chapter finds a Green Lantern overwhelmed and embattled — the cover by Aaron Kuder throws him into a churning storm of orange energy constructs, with a massive, fanged orange beast looming above and armored figures pressing in from all sides. Kuder's kinetic linework makes the threat feel genuinely enormous, with that brilliant green power ring beam cutting through the orange chaos as the sole point of resistance.
