Green Lantern Dark #6

This DC Elseworlds series brings its haunting aesthetic to a head in issue #6, where Werther Dell'Edera's cover art frames an intimate, tense confrontation between two women — one bathed in warm amber light with autumn leaves swirling around her, the other cloaked in shadow beneath a glowing lantern above. Giovanna Niro's rich, smoldering color palette gives the scene an almost autumnal gothic quality, with scattered crystal shards catching the orange glow between the two figures. Tate Brombal's "Chapter Six: Blackest Night" promises that this Elseworlds reimagining of Green Lantern mythology is pushing toward something deeply personal and beautifully unsettling.
