Green Lantern #37

The "Godhead" crossover event charges into Act 3 with this 2015 New 52 chapter, and the cover by Billy Tan sets a fittingly urgent tone — Green Lantern and a red-suited ally brace themselves at the bottom of the frame while monstrous, feral creatures swarm down from above, with a hulking, hooded figure leading the charge. The sense of being overwhelmed from all sides is palpable, with wreckage and chaos filling every corner of the composition. With Robert Venditti writing and Francis Portela on interior art alongside colorist Brad Anderson, this is a solid chapter in one of the Corps' most ambitious 2015 storylines.
