Green Lantern #0
Part of DC's New 52 initiative, Green Lantern #0 from November 2012 introduces a striking new face behind the emerald mask. The cover by Doug Mahnke and Christian Alamy puts this Green Lantern front and center — suited up in the classic black-and-green uniform, power ring glowing on his fist, a handgun in his other hand, and Arabic script tattooed on his forearm — as he bursts through the page itself in a burst of orange light. Geoff Johns and Mahnke's "The New Normal" promises a fresh chapter for the Corps that feels genuinely energized.
