Against a burnt-orange sky, Green Arrow stands in silhouette — bow in hand, arrows at his back — facing a crouching, clawed Deathstroke, with a forbidding island prison looming on the rocky cliffs behind them. The cover's bold graphic style, courtesy of penciler Scott McDaniel and inker Andy Owens, gives this August 2006 confrontation a striking, almost cinematic tension. With the tagline "Deathstroke: The Terminated!" and writer Judd Winick kicking off "Wild Part One: Busted!", this issue promises a collision between two of DC's most compelling combatants.
