Green Arrow #62
Against a backdrop of a burning American flag, Oliver Queen draws his bow with quiet, steely resolve — hooded in green and ready to loose an arrow at whatever threat demands it. Mike Grell both wrote and drew this 1992 cover, and the image captures the series' signature tone perfectly: grounded, politically charged, and unmistakably American in its tension. "Pitchforks & Torches" promises exactly the kind of street-level intensity that made this run one of DC's most mature offerings of the era.
