Green Arrow #61
Part of DC's "One Year Later" initiative, this June 2006 issue drops readers into the middle of a tense standoff. The cover — penciled by Scott McDaniel and inked by Andy Owens — frames Oliver Queen front and center in his green hood and tunic, arrow and bow in hand, defiantly facing down two hulking armored figures closing in from either side against a smoldering amber skyline. The single-word challenge "…DRAW!" says everything about the tone Judd Winick is setting as he and McDaniel dig into "Crawling through the Wreckage.
