“Emerald Outlaw Part One”

In "Emerald Outlaw Part One," Green Arrow finds himself at a breaking point—publicly vilified after the death of Amin Mustafa and the crash of the Emerald Express, with his identity and motives under fire. Stripped of his fortune and believed dead, Oliver Queen retreats into the woods with Dinah and Diggle, building a new life far from the city he once protected. As Ollie races to uncover the truth behind Broderick’s crimes, the man who wants to destroy him is already shaping a narrative that could make the Emerald Archer a villain in the eyes of the world. Written by Benjamin Percy and illustrated by Otto Schmidt, with a striking cover by W. Scott Forbes, this pivotal issue marks a turning point in Green Arrow’s journey.

With Green Arrow being a person of interest in the death of Amin Mustafa and the crash of the Emerald Express, Seattle public opinion is split on whether the Emerald Archer is a hero or a menace. Meanwhile, Oliver Queen is believed dead and he has lost his home, his fortune, and his company. Ollie, Dinah, and Diggle establish a new home base in a forest outside of Seattle. While Ollie tries to get evidence of Broderick's criminal activities in an attempt to re-claim his company, Broderick plots to turn the public completely against Green Arrow.
