Issue four of this six-part Vertigo series plunges deeper into the psychedelic world of "The Greatest Rock 'N' Roll Heroes of the '60s!" with a cover by Glenn Fabry that practically leaps off the page. Dominating the composition is a pale, wild-haired figure in a wide-brimmed orange hat and skull-lensed goggles, mouth thrown open in what could be a battle cry or a scream, while smaller figures peek out from the swirling technicolor background behind him. Writer David Tischman and artist Glenn Fabry promise "an overdose of action and adventure" with this chapter, subtitled "Helter-Skelter!" — and that cover makes it easy to believe them.
