This issue contains two main stories: "Sheriff of Dry Gulch," in which Goofy Gander, a bird sheriff, attempts to stop a train robbery but is tricked by the bandits who use blanks instead of bullets, leading to his humiliation when he discovers he's been fooled. "Bobo Bear in Soaked Again" follows Bobo Bear as he anxiously buys new shoes on sale during a rainstorm, tries to keep them dry by rushing indoors, and accidentally gives money to a criminal disguised as a beggar; when Bobo chases the thief and recovers his money, the criminal throws him out a window into water, soaking both Bobo and his new shoes despite his desperate efforts to protect them.
