Black Ace gets himself recruited for a shady job on a submarine, which, he later discovers, involves sinking American tankers. When the sub surfaces it is torpedoed and sinks to the bottom. Black Ace keeps up the morale of the crew, having them breathe shallowly, until a rescue crew arrives.
